At the end of January, Ella performed at half time of the high school basketball game. She participated in Cheer Camp the week prior, so they got to show everyone what they had learned. While she was quite adorable, we're still hoping she'll play basketball instead!!
Here she is with her very good friend, Bella...
For President's Weekend, we surprised the girls with a trip to The Great Wolf Lodge where we met my parents, Ty, Jenny, Emily, and Eryn. The girls had no idea where we were going and definitely had no idea that we would be spending the weekend with their much loved cousins. My mom retired in December and really wanted to take her kids and grandkids on a trip. This was a great meeting place. It's a HUGE indoor waterpark and the rooms were amazing...very fun for the kids! Thanks, Nana and Papa!!
Celia got a hold of the camera while Emily posed for her...
The weather has been absolutely gorgeous here in Chelan. We got very little snow this winter, which was a bit of a disappointment, but the constant sunshine is making me get over the lack of snow very quickly. Yesterday, we decided it would be fun to go snowshoeing up the Butte. It was so beautiful! We hiked up to the top and then slid down on our rear ends!
Running note: Things are going very well! I've run two 16 milers and one 18 miler and they all felt pretty good. My first 20 miler is in a couple of weeks.
