4th of July

We had our 3rd annual 4th of July party out at the cabin this year. I think everyone had a great time, but I've decided that I definitely prefer being a guest over being a hostess. It just seems like no matter how organized I am or how much I prepare everything ahead of time, I don't get to enjoy the party as much as I would like. We had a lot of fun though.

Of course I had to have a photo session with the girls all decked out in their 4th of July outfits from Nana...

Their first sparklers...considering they have a mother who is afraid to light a match, I thought they did quite well!

Out in the boat waiting for the fireworks to begin...we were all very tired.
